Woohoo!! I managed to get this one all finished up before the end of the hiatus!! *party party party* After this point, my Uni tends to pick up a lot, as well, so I'm pleased to have one last fandom hurrah before I get buried in textbooks.

Oh, no. I read all of it. I think it was just the right amount of darkness. Sometimes it gets taken too far, to the point where it's no longer believable, I think. And you toed that line extremely well. It was a bit gritty and a bit dark, and 100% perfect.

Totally know what you mean about toeing lines and not going over the top, as well. It always drives me nuts when a wonderful, complex idea gets taken too far into the realm of 'oh, damn, I can't really believe that anymore'. I definitely wanted to stay firmly within the realm of Blaine's own character and age. <3

AHA, I KNOW RIGHT? XD I think it's like how television programs have, like, "Hollywood Homely" characters who are supposed to be unattractive but their actors are gorgeous. Because Chris Colfer? IS SEXY AS FUCK, but apparently like no one ever realizes that Kurt is. OH TELEVISION.

And your entire paragraph about Kurt, Blaine, and intimacy just had me nodding my head like a crazy person, because yes. Yes, yes, yes, yes, YES. Intimacy for them is SO much more special and meaningful because they're both such tightly-wound people -- Kurt especially, who allows so few people to see what's under that tough outer shell. It makes everything so much more special and close and everything for them. (And at that particular moment, drives Blaine that little bit more crazy about the entire situation.) I love how you highlight how innocent that makes their interaction in some way, because I completely agree with you. It's the perfect word, and thank you so much for saying I convey that well. <3

And actually, thank you so much for mentioning that first scene! I really debated whether or not it was necessary for such a short story, but I wanted to build up Blaine's anxiety -- and yet, certainty -- at his decision. So thank you so much for highlighting it! (And also, oh my gosh, high school = totally smells like Axe Body Spray. Or at least the one I went to did. XD)

And OH MY GOSH. I changed your opinion of Dave? *speechless* I cannot... I cannot even, oh my goodness. That makes me so happy I can't even tell you!!! Honestly, I love Dave to pieces. Unrequited Kurtofsky is definitely my second-biggest OTP in Glee fandom just because he fucks up so much and it could never, ever work but he just wants it to so badly. Seriously, I cannot even convey how happy I am that I was able to sway you on him a little, because that boy is angsty story

This is one of those times for me when you know you like something, but you have no idea how much you do.

I have always known that possessiveness and jealousy are hot on some level... But what you are doing with this, the way you handle Dave and Kurt and Blaine and their relationships with each other... I am out of my mind with wanting to read this forever.
