Wow. You really know how to end a story! I just want more, more, more forever and ever.

I truly love this fic. The way you explore what it means practically and emotionally to be werewolves, pack dynamics and the complexities of their relationships and feelings for one another. The whole thing is just brilliant. Well done.
*applauds*

Thank you ever so much, lovey!! :D I'm pleased as punch that the ending was impactful and measured up well with the rest of the fic. I kinda want to write more and more forever, so at least I'll have an audience of one!!

For me, just adding in supernatural elements isn't enough to be satisfying, however sexy the writing might be. Exploring the emotional and practical downfalls and consequences and difficult patches is really what I find most interesting: I wrote the entire fic just to be able to talk about pack dynamics and how it would alter the group of characters we all know and love! I'm so happy that you enjoyed all that. <3

(Also, yay applause! Thank you to you and your icon!)

Oh, thank you so much, love. It was strange, posting such a short installment after the massiveness that was the first four. But I'm delighted that the epilogue was effective and in keeping with the rest of the story, despite its somewhat bittersweet nature! (Or perhaps because of it?)

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! :D I hope some closure was obtained! You are a complete star for taking the time to leave feedback, bb!! Love love love forever!

Holy shit. Yeah. That is all I can say after reading 48,500 glorious words.

*after a few minutes --> time to mop brain cells off the floor* When I first read the prompt on glee_kink_meme, I honestly thought it was hopeless. Unrealistic, illogical, and rushed plotlines are no good for me (unless it's completely and hilariously crack, then well, okay) so the whole Puck being an asshole and getting away with it story really doesn't cut it (also not at all the vision I have for an alpha). But I saw your name, and I remembered how brilliant you are in "The Last of the Romantics" and figured if anyone can pull this off (and make it smoking hot) it would be you. So I waited, and waited, and waited (because WIPs are extremely unhealthy to my mental and cardiac health). And.Holy.Shit. This is brilliant. Awesome. Wicked. Bloody marvelous. Whatever.

Love it, and thanks for writing.

P.S. Also LOVE the little canon bits, "you move me" and "they can't touch us, or what we have," Blaine being like a puppy, etc.

So, I feel the need to come back a gush a little more about how much I love Puck in this story. Your decision to deviate from the prompt with his character is perfect, really. He shines as a leader, and does what he has to do to keep the pack together because he "knows when things are right." But he does just the absolute minimum of it, holding off on Kurt and being incredibly considerate during the whole ritual. I kept rereading it not just because it's hot as hell but because there's this sense of relief (I've never read a non-Blaine/Kurt sex scene and feel relief before, so that one is new), trust, and admiration.

The epilogue is absolutely heart-breaking, not just because they are far apart again but because of the pain they share now, the bond that connects them intimately and forever. So heart-breakingly beautiful, I guess. How you manage to turn that prompt into THIS, I know not.

I can't get over this verse. HELP!
-P.

I love the fact that you came back to talk some more. I absolutely love talking about characterization. <3

I'm delighted that you enjoyed my Puck, and that altering from the prompt in this respect wasn't a bad decision. The prompt was very inspirational, yes, but when I first read it I very much had a "Well, this is pretty out of character and unlikely" moment. The entire story came from me wondering how to create a world where Puck's decision was completely rational, compassionate, and in keeping with his character. (This is when OMG IDEAS IDEAS IDEAS HOW DO PACK DYNAMICS WORK IDEAS struck. ;D) But you're right; I don't know why people would follow an alpha who didn't have their best interests at heart.

Throughout the ritual itself, I really wanted to make it clear that Puck very much does have both Blaine's and Kurt's best interests in mind. Not only that, but he genuinely cares about them and respects them. He knows he has to do this, but he'll do whatever he can to make the process easier for all of them. It makes me so happy ( ... )

It's kind of ridiculously exciting to me, the idea that people are binge-reading this all in one go! :D I'm so, so glad that you enjoyed this, bb. (Although I apparently suck at math, since this seems to be over 50k. WHY DO I SUCK AT MATH?) SO glad that you enjoyed this so much, honey!!

May I just say that it is so incredibly flattering that you decided to give this fic a go because you enjoyed "The Last of the Romantics", especially since it was something you were iffy about. And that you enjoyed it!! Romantics was such an emotional story to write, so the fact that's still doing good warms the cockles of my heart. :D Also, I completely understand waiting for the end of a WIP; I often lack the patience, and then I just pine for more! Also, yay canon bits! They're still the same people, after all. Just in wildly different circumstances. <3
