[Translation] 1008 Wink up - TheyBudou
I translated August 2010 TheyBudou article from Wink up~! It's definitely not perfect but I figure it's good practice. I have to take a Japanese placement test on Monday and I'm kind of nervous.

Early Summer - TheyBudou
Eda Tsuyoshi
After the Arashi and KinKi Kids concerts ended there was a short break, but after that was [Takizawa] Kabuki, Crea performances, and now practice for PLAYZONE has started. Things I am grateful for would be to alwayyyssss continue work. Things I want to do in my private life? Travel! If it were now, then probably toward Kansai. I’m originally from Kansai, so it’s nice to wind down there. Eh, I don’t have a Kansai dialect? No no, I normally do. At home I talk normally with my father in Kansai dialect, and when I talk with Kansai Juniors, I start using Kansai dialect without realizing it and they get surprised, saying things like “Eh, you’re from Kansai?” If I can’t travel, then it’d be fun to go camping with the other [TheyBudou] members. Since it seems like everyone has their own field of expertise, everything would probably progress smoothly (laughs)
Yamamoto Ryota
The performances at Crea ended in the blink of an eye. The talk with Kawai and Tottsu about breathing made me think “Ah, indeed,” and Mis Snow Man’s Abe is a much more interesting guy than I thought, so there were a ton of new discoveries. After the night that the performances ended, we only had one day...no, to be exact, we had half a day, so we went to hang out in Hakone. We had PLAYZONE practice starting the next day, but we had rental car and lodging reservations so it was a super speedy trip until we returned for practice time (laughs). But, letting loose with just guys was incredibly fun. Even though it was a short time, we were able to create time that was deeper and complete, and I would like to spend even one night in Hawaii with this energy (laughs).
Hayashi Shota
Practices for PLAYZONE have just begun. The other day, the scriptwriters did a “because we want to know everyone’s character” type of game. There was a situation like “You’re on a narrow bridge and people are walking from both sides, so how do you cross to the other side?” and everyone’s characters were interesting. My partner was Tsuka-chan, and Tsuka-chan became a company president: “President! The shop we made reservations at is over there. Let’s go together!” and we got involved in this situation I had made up (laughs). I look forward to seeing what kind of performance this will become. The dancing seems to be very high-level, and the practices are tough, but I’m excited because I have a feeling that I can mature and grow.
Takahashi Ryu
After the Crea concerts were done, the number of fan letters with the words “Nice to meet you” increased. It seems that there are people who saw the shows and became new fans, so I’m incredibly happy. The performances themselves were also very fun. But I’ve found many points to reflect back on. The distribution of pace between song and dance as well as the pitch were light and the amp on stage was small so the sound turnover wasn’t very good, so I sang while trying my hardest to listen to the music that flowed through the theater...there were a lot of things I wasn’t accustomed to. But thanks to these, I feel like more or less my ear has gotten better (laughs). And then, next is PLAYZONE! At this point I don’t have the slightest idea what role I’ll have but I think I’d like to have a sense of “How big of a role can it become?”
