Nervous

 I am going to church tomorrow. This, in itself, is not big news. Tomorrow is my first shot at being a lector (the person who goes up and does one of the two readings from the Bible at the beginning of the service). I'm scheduled to be the second one, meaning I'm doing the reading from the New Testament (a.k.a. The Epistle). Tomorrow, it's this:

*huuugs* I hope all goes well! I dunno if this gets to you too late but prayer always helps me before doing something like that.

Got it pre-church! I was raised to say a prayer and reflect before you do anything else when you first sit down in the pew, so I'm planning on doing that, but before I have to meet everyone to check in and everything. My general one is always something along the lines of, "Calm my thoughts so that I may better hear Your Word, and calm my body so that I can easily feel Your presence with me." I think I'll be adding something like, "And help me stay calm so that I don't screw up." :D
