I am back! For reals!! My brand new gigantic laptop has arrived, and I've started its setup process. I've been without a computer for so long, I've forgotten most of my shortcuts and settings and stuff. This thing is HUGE. The fact that you use Windoze . . . well, my advice is don't use it. Every time I've used a computer with 7 . . . it freezes, needs to restart, etc. I've never been happier with computer since I started using Ubuntu.

I realized a short time ago that my computer screen is bigger than my TV screen. (Then again, my TV is a 13" from 1990, back before Closed Captioning existed, and only has one coax input on the back. Mom has agreed that the new computer and a new small HDTV will be my Christmas and Birthday presents this year. Now all I will need is a decent MP3 player and I'll be finally fully stocked with 21st century tech.) I have a feeling all of my movie watching will be done on the lappy from now on.
