Sorry I've been away... My sister's really sick, in the hospital, in St. Louis. This, of course, posed a problem for Mom and me since we were in Austin. We got the call that she was going into the hospital and immediately started throwing clothes into suitcases and hopped on the first Southwest flight up to the Gateway city. Let's just say it's

Howdy. Yes, Chesterfield Mall isn't far away from the hospital, and the Galleria is near your hotel. Targets and Borders and such are (I think) close to both of those malls. Apparently the airport, randomly, had a bunch of Cards paraphenalia, and the malls have kiosks and such. Galleria has a "Cardinals Clubhouse" which is massive. Wal-Mart/Target should also have swag.

I am wearing gloves as I type this right now. My house isn't cold, but my hands get really, REALLY cold as I work. Annoying.

I am coming by the hospital this afternoon before my book club. I can loan you some sweatshirts if you want?

Thanks for the offer of sweatshirts. Unfortunately, I don't think yours would fit me. I'm sorry I missed your visit... I was absolutely conked out at the hotel. Several days of sleep deprivation caught up with me finally, I guess.

I'm hoping to grab some $$ and go to Chesterfield Mall (Mom, Sis, and I went there last time we visited) to get some warmer clothes.

West County mall is also close to you guys, and very nice (take 64/40 east to 270 South for about 3-4 miles).

It might be cold in Austin by the time you get back. It was almost 80 last night when I left the grocery at 6:45 p.m. By the time I went to bed it was down to 60. Gotta love the insane temperature shifts.

Great. Yeah, the temp shifts SUCK. BIG TIME. I wish we had looked at the forecast for even a couple of seconds so we would have known to grab our winter coats and not just fall coats. Ugh.

Hmmm...freezing has become quite familiar with me. I wish it would get up to 58 here. Acutally it's supposed to this weekend.

Thanks, about Sar. She's doing better now, but I'm going to get permission from her today about how much stuff I can put up here, and if she wants me to friend-lock it or what.
