And who knew Critic was religious? I also had to LOL at the "soap opera" line. XD

Aww, glad you liked. :) And the religiousness is canon too! You know about the abuse already, but Doug and Rob were raised Catholic and Critic kisses a tiny, silver cross when he's scared in the "IT" review.

Oh, yay! An awesome fic for my prompt. Thanks again. Really, this is beautiful. I am surprised by the religion but it works very well. Critic is in religious in canon and he would be pissed at God for giving him such a crappy life. Plus this:

He shook his head, fidgeting with his cross even more. "Someone else. Found out he didn't care about me after all."

OUCH. Broke my heart. Oh bb. Liz was really awesome in this, too. Her life sucks too but she can actually see the good in it. She's got her son and I just wanted to hug and thank her for trying to help Critic do the same.

This is incredibly moving. I'm a church-goer myself and love the faith in this so much. It made me smile. Thanks for sharing this chink of light.

Oh Critic. Oh Liz. I don't know what else to say. This beautiful and wonderful and I love that she's in mum-mode. And you are awesome and fantastic (fairly certain I've told you that before, but it bears repeating).
