Between Seasons

I can't believe it's been over two months since I last talked TV (guess that's what happens when you're MIA for a whole month, lol). And I've made a lot of progress (finishing 5 seasons of the 6 shows I was watching) just in time for new seasons to start up this Fall and Winter.

Season Two of Spectacular Spider-Man? Done! )

legend of the seeker, bday, chuck, links, fandom, merlin, tv, star wars, spider-man, iron man, star wars clone wars, watch list

:O Bookmarking the Iron Man Armored Adventures. :]

I wanted so badly to like Merlin because I just love the Arthur/Merlin/Morgana/Uther dynamic, but I can't get over Jor-El!Dragon and cheesier-than-SV effects, lol. I'm going to try Legend of the Seeker, though. That looks pretty good.

Awesome! I know a lot of people couldn't get past the premise of teenizing the Iron Man world, but it's not bad if you give it a chance. :)

Yeah the whole dragon character I never really understood what his purpose or why he was there, and even though I didn't think about it, I agree about the Jor-El comparisons, especially early seasons my way is the right way and I don't have to explain things Jor-El.

Seeker is addicting, but I've always been a fan of syndicated fantasy shows (Hercules, Xena). I can't think of an episode where I was just "ugh!", instead it's easy to get enchanted with the show.

Oh, I REALLY hope you write SSM fic! And I won't spoil you on the rest of Chuck, but I'm seriously glad you love it. :) As far as Seeker, I've read some spoilers (and I read the first several books, but that means nothing, since they're quite different), and I think we're in for a fun ride!

Yeah me too! It'll probably just be a few one-shots due to time but I definitely want to explore the idea I have for that world.

I'm excited to watch the rest of Chuck, I'm glad I gave it a shot. I've stayed spoiler free with Seeker which is a challenge in itself with these big fandom shows, I got spoiled for a big plot point in Smallville just with some idiot comment in a thread for the last episode. :(
