doppelganger (thoughts on obsession)

I was nervous about this one going in, and unfortunately it lived up to my expectations.

Good things first - Palmer was adorable, Abby/Tony/Palmer scene was "awwww!", and Tony realizing what he'd done at the end was at least minorly redeeming.   And there were more good moments...actually, just about anything that didn't involve Tony obsessing over ( Read more... )

Word, so much that I lack them. ;)

They implanted a probe in his brain and are making him act in ways that are inconsistent with his usual personality to see how long it takes people to notice.

On the up side, if they keep going that way, maybe I will write down my crack!fic idea after all. Will still be more in character than this. *gg*

You should! Heck, the paranormal prompt from the last round isn't looking so far-fetched now...

I have never, ever said "I'm going to pretend that episode didn't happen" before. It drives me nuts when people do that. But I'm doing that with this one. Like I said, mirror universe. ;-)

I agree with you on the whole Tony!stalker thingy. It was strange and any of your explanations would've fit better. Heck, I was wondering through most of the episode if he knew Diane from before or if she looked like someone he knew before... anything just to rationalize his actions. Found absolutely nothing. The only scene I really liked about this episode was the ending with Gibbs.

And ROFL for the aliens:-) You're right, probably any of the fics for the paranormal prompt would've gone over better than this. At least, they all had some *logical* explanation.
