Back at work after a long weekend in Chicago and little sleep, straight into a presentation this morning for which my co-presenter had not reserved the necessary A/V equipment. The day is still heading downhill.

I think my head just asploded.

everyone's day seems to have been difficult today!

did i miss anything at the end of class? I just couldn't take it anymore. I felt like I was going to break down crying or something *points at own journal*. And I wish he had not asked me. I feel like by the time one gets to grad school one shouldn't have to account for leaving class early.

Nope, you didn't miss a thing. At least, I don't think so. I wasn't exactly...focused. ;-)

Have you written the book report yet? I haven't even finished the book. Didn't we quit writing book reports after junior high?

I'm also still reading the book, and I had the same thought you did. I'm glad I wasn't the only one who wasn't exactly focused. Was it just me or was that our most boring guest lecture so far?
