Can you believe it? IKEA discontinued my pink couch and sold the very last one in the Pacific Northwest yesterday!

I am one of those people that hate orange with a passion, so I mourn the loss of the pink one! LOL

Yeah, orange is a funny one. I remember reading a fashion book in my youth (I believe its title was Elegance and I remember it being very authoritative in tone) which said that at no time in history had orange ever been, or would it ever be, an elegant color.

Hard to argue with that. However, since I started following Dressing Your Truth, I've discovered that pure orange really works for me. And it's wonderfully cheerful in this gray-green climate.

All that said, I really did like the pink, too, and would have happily had that couch for years.

I'm another who really hates orange. And I loved that pink! Can IKEA not locate a pink one for you from another store? Maybe you can find one on eBay?

The IKEA employee offered to check Seattle (the only other IKEA between Canada and San Francisco), but I didn't see how I'd get the sofa here if they had one. There's a point where delivery charges will add up to the higher price of a better sofa-bed at a fancier store ( ... )
