The delays have been due mostly to the fact that these guys are all moonlighting subcontractors with other full-time jobs. I'm getting some excellent deals. It's a bit inconvenient, but I'm in a very good position to put up with it, since my own calendar is wide open.
I'll be glad to move back into the bedroom--I miss having another room to go into!--but it's not dire in the meantime.

I haven't really minded the inconvenience so far, though I am looking forward to having my one "other room" back. What's taken me by surprise is how easy it's been to do without. If I can close off my bedroom, leave my living room furniture on the porch for a month and not miss it, or wear only three plain outfits while most of my wardrobe is inaccessible, do I really need those things?
It's remarkable how easy it's been to contract into a more restricted space. If not for the record rainfall that's keeping me pretty much indoors, I don't think it would bother me at all.
