Guess who ran past me this morning while I was riding to work...

Go on, guess.

Hint: First name Timothy. Last name: Hutton.

o.O

I saw him in Tower Records once! It made my day....my week....possibly my month...

You have a Tim Hutton icon! Cool.

Yeah, it was a really brief moment--I zoomed past him and it clicked half a second later that that slim, attractive, smaller-than-you'd-think guy with the curly hair (and, incidentally, the charming smile...) was A Real Live Movie Star.

IKR??? It was kind of surreal. He sort of smiled at me and Clyde, like, yup, that's Portland. Or so I imagine.

OMFG!! That is awesome!!

You get to see Hutton and you get to ride a bike wherever you want? That's it: I'm movin' to Portland.

You totally should! Though my best friend Tim is only here during the filming of twelve eps of Leverage, for as long as Leverage keeps getting renewed, I guess.

Still. Cool place for cool people like you.

OMG did you squee?? Or were you more grown-up and dignified, and all, "...s'up."

That is pretty damn cool. And while you were riding Clyde, no less. In your element, on a lovely Portland early spring day...I say again: pretty damn cool.

Seriously? He was running at a good clip northward, and I was in high gear going southward, so it was about .1 second of eye contact and, on my part, a belated recognition of who it was that I had just made eye contact with.

I sort of squeed inwardly, and was glad that I was already smiling--because hey, what's not to smile about on a morning like this one?--and had just taken off my helmet for the Waterfront Park portion of my ride, so that I looked like a human being and not a space alien.

It was kind of cool.
