Not sure how these would be in snow. Possibly okay--they have really tready soles. But man, you'd need three pairs of socks, 'cause they're not all that warm. Great for puddle-stomping, though.
The fact that the NYT has enough bicycling articles to allow you to say "every time" thrills me no end, and the fact that that guy has, so far, four pages of comments in the form of really great bike questions is just wonderful!

Well, they're awesome boots for the price. And let me ask you a merchandising question: how come the tiny sizes for little gals are on the top row, and the big sizes for big tall gals are way down at the bottom?
omg, yes! A question I've asked for *YEARS*! At our location, (so I'm assumimg it's going to be all stores) they've finally started to get that "duh, tiny little feet mean tiny little people..." and flipped the smaller sizes to the bottom.
