Ok, so the cut looks excellent...but...whats with the little duck tail thing on the back? Intentional? Is the flip flipping in the wrong direction? I'm very confused by it.

Indeed it is an error of sorts... I did a speedy blow dry and that part should be flat to the head, not sticking out like that... though as it turns out the cut itself is correct. (It had me confused too when I went to have my teacher check it!)
