Well, It's new years and there are new things on the horizon.
I've been issued a writing challenge by lucien_soulban  - we'll have to see how that goes as it involves a lot of soul searching and a lot of "work" of which I have plenty already.

You can do this, and you should. If you'd like an unbiased review from a (near) complete stranger, I'll help. But you should turn your hand to the pen once more - it's not just for scaling the hights and plumbing the depths. Sometimes you turn around a month or two later and realize that, "Hey, this doesn't suck. Did I write this?"
Do it.

I had, at some point, your email address. I will happily send you one of the ancient beasts to peruse. Please let me know what you think once I can get it sent your way. Thanks for the encouragement but it's still going to be very hard to accomplish this.

You *can* do it. Look, at the insistance of one of my neighbors, I just wrote a 4 page poem about freakin' insurance. If I can do that, in such a way that it doesn't bore the eyes off someone, you can certainly turn your hand back to writing. Slow and steady. Start with the "why am I writing this" - even if it's just for your own edification.
Email addrrs under seperate cover!

Still wondering if I can since neither you nor the 1 other person I sent the story to have responded. Seems like it's not meant to be.
