I've been putting this off because it's felt like writing this post would be "final", but with Father's Day coming up and making me feel crappier by the second, I figure now's the time to make the announcement here, same as I have done on Twitter and Facebook

The funny thing is, I miss SPN fandom, I just don't miss the show. I gave it another shot after season eight started as it did have some good moments, but I just couldn't get into it the same. It's a pity, because I almost, almost made it! It was almost the first TV series I started watching from the beginning right through to the end without skipping any episodes! But alas, 'twas not to be.

Still, seven series isn't a bad run for someone who's not a TV fan. I'm completely smitten with Hannibal though <3, though I only peek in at the crack side of that fandom because it's hilarious.

Thank you very much about my dad. He was an awesome, awesome, awesome person, I don't know a single person who met him who didn't come out with at least one funny story from the experience, and I'm just glad that if he had to go, he went like this. *hugs*

I am so very sorry for your loss. I have been reading your LJ since I discovered LJ and the SPN fandom here (as a matter of fac you were one of the first) I lost my dad , too and it hurts. So anyway, hang in there.-Sherri

Thank you very much hon. I suspect after Father's Day it'll be easier as I won't have merchandise on TV and in the shops everywhere reminding me that I've lost him on a daily basis, so I'm looking forward to that!

And thank you for sticking around even if I haven't been here often (and am almost solely into Rise of the Guardians fandom at present). <3
