GUYS.
TOM HIDDLESTON (Loki in the new Thor movie) IS MY GOOD OMENS CROWLEY.
He is the Crowley that has sat in my head whenever I've read that book. To a tee. He could not be more perfect if you slapped yellow contacts on him and put him in snakeskin boots. At least, presumably they would be boots.

In Thor I wanted to scoop him up and take him home and look after him forever. Preferably with lots of sex. XD

1) A TV series has been confirmed, on Terry Pratchett's Twitter I believe (and not on April 1st ^^), so not quite a movie but apparently it is getting adapted.
2) It's one of those books where you definitely have a very specific-to-you vision of how the characters look, so casting-planning happens a lot, yes :). But this is the first time where, instead of going "Hmm, yeah, uh huh, I can kind of see that" at other people's suggestions, I've actually found myself going "OH MY GOD THAT IS ACTUALLY HIM. THERE. IN FRONT OF ME. THAT IS CROWLEY." XD

But it's still a bit weird having a geekspasm about Loki, knowing that. :P
And yes, Thor is amazing! I want to see it again. It's reignited my nerdy interest in Norse mythology. =]

So many myths and legends are awesome, but the Norse myths are definitely the most flat-out badass. :D

I have a "tolerable" list - people where I would still go "hmm :(" at them playing Aziraphale, but I wouldn't go "WTF NOOOOOO D:<" - but no one has made me go OMG HEAD CANON AZIRAPHALE WUT.
But seeing this guy is definitely exciting. HALF MY ALL-TIME BOOK-BASED OTP HAS NOW BEEN DISCOVERED IN THE REAL WORLD. Just need to find the other half. XD
