i loved it until the reveal about castiel. that part just made me go "uhhhhhhhhhh okay, brb eyerolling." i think i would have preferred cas being the way he was just because he was a weirdo by nature, idk.

still, i've re-read the 1st part a bunch of times, it's perfect.

Hee, well, I did say I couldn't review it objectively in any way shape or form. It's mutism kink. It's like my most bulletproof guilty pleasure of a kink and this is despite the fact I've known voluntary mutes irl and I know it's not sunshine and daisies or even necessarily all drama llama but I just love it so much in fic I can't even - you know how the Watchmen movie apparently had flaws? I can't see them in that either for the same sort of reason why anything that could be wrong with this fic my brain just completely bypassed. When any fic/movie/tv show latches onto something in your brain you love and adore and gives to you exactly what you want it's rather hard to try and distance yourself from it in any way ;).

I'm glad you liked the first part though, in the very least :D.
