LEARNING TO THROAT SING IS HARD, PEOPLE.

Really weirdly, my throat feels amazing, but my diaphragm is all OKAY GUYS OH GOD SERIOUSLY WHAT ARE YOU DOING I'M NOT SUPPOSED TO BE HERE, and that is rather ouchy, but awesome.

*snuggles*

It's actually okay if you follow the instructions very strictly; do it in small amounts to make sure you're doing it right (hint, if your throat hurts, you're doing it wrong!), and making sure you don't try and change the pitch and tone with your throat, you actually do it with your mouth shape.

If you're cocking it up then you do run the risk of buggering up your throat pretty badly but if you do it right and practise in small amounts it's okay.

It's actually been pretty awesome for my asthma so far, because it's given me more breathing control than I ever normally have!

Also, because I was terribly rude and forgot to say - sorry if I worried you :). It's specifically Tibetan-style throat singing I've been practising, which is relatively safe, so I didn't mind to infer I was trying anything more dangerous for myself; in fact, because it helps relax the vocal chords and control breathing, I'm singing clearer when I do regular singing now than I ever used to, and my range has slightly increased. But I'm being careful <3.

Thank you for caring, babe :).
