Ooo, I really like the mythology you're creating here of what they are becoming. I'd really like to see it in actions with others, how they are creatures now more of instinct and need and want than emotion or logic or humanity than before. I'd like to see it in action.

I absolutely like Sinners and Saints - but vampires are from the dark side. So Sam and Dean must have a soul (or something like that) to hunt evil things. To know what is right and what is wrong. With this last line, you mean they could be evil someday???

It's more along the lines that Vampires although technically soulless still have personalities, feelings, hopes, ideals, and with the Winchesters being raised as they were, they're not going to give up hunting and they're not going to start killing willy nilly.

The evilness is a possibility but for now I can tell you it would be a slow slippery slope, slouching towards bethleham and all that.
