Okay so some general stuff first. I'm like way nervous and super excited about school. I'm so frazzled and nervous because HELLO HUGE NEW CITY and HUGE ASS LOAN! Frazzled because I have to send in like 8 billion pieces of paper and I'm not even sure what's due when and OMG STRESS

it's so damn crazy when I hear you americans talk about education and wages. that's 5 times as much as I have to live in a year.

also, I guess we don't have student loan's around here, because noone would be EVER able to pay back as much.

Heh, I didn't know you were a foreigner. Where are you from?

The thing about loans is, you don't have to start paying them back until you're out of school, and you have a lower interest rate. You're education is like any other investment, at least that's what we're told. :)

50.000 for two years?

...! that's a HUGE amount of money! What school of school is it? (and yes, I understand it's including maintainance expenses, not just just the school, but damn. That's so much!)

UK schools are expensive, but not like that (one of the reasons why I ended up in the UK and not in the US) and Italian schools are brilliant 'cause they are practically free in comparison. Of course, some are better than others and some don't have as many resources as US schools, since the money comes from the government, but still...50.000! *dies of shock*

The school is a small private school, the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, and the program I'm going into is that much. The prices all differ depending on your major.

Hee! Yeah, the money is huge, but you get loans and what not. *shrug*

It makes a difference, I'm sure you'll have a grand time (I did four years of Illustration myself, best years of my life, school-wise)
