How about a bookstore? Or the local library? I know a lot of times they have postings at the library website, though a lot of the positions might be part time.

I applied at Barnes and Noble but they never called me back. :\ Haven't really thought about the library, I'll have to check it out. :) Thanks!

With Barnes and Noble you have to be very persitent. Ask for the manager. If they are not in, ask when they will be in. And most important make sure you have a decent schedule of avaiability.

I applied for a job with them and had to be very persitent. I stopped after being treated very rudely by the hiring manager.

Ah, yeah, I can't be like that with people. *shrug* I dunno. They haven't called me, so I probably won't get the job. Meh, their loss.
