God, Gwen's POV is heartbreaking here, but Merlin is so tender towards her. I really like what you've done with the prompt/universe here, it's quite remarkable. :)

First off, sorry I'm late about replying. The Arthur/Merlin is at the center of this 'verse I guess, but I find the relationship between Gwen and Merlin at least as interesting, so I'm pleased you liked it. Thank you!

Could have sworn I'd commented on this!

I really like this take on girl!Merlin, and seeing him (her) through Gwen's eyes in this bit worked really well. And the ending line, Gwen thinking about embroidery, really sticks with me for some reason.
