Nice chapter. Liked the acknowledgment of past mistakes and Sam getting comfort through helping Brian. (And I'm still holding out hope that Mac can help them find a cure for the Mark).

Great building of suspense and I like your characterization of Brian. So difficult to be a child AND a psychic. Also, your callbacks, to Sam's year with visions and to the meadowsweet, are great.
