Robert William Service. Scottish-born canadian. It's from a book called Ballads of a Bohemian. He was born in 1874 and died in 1958. I believe Ballads of a Bohemian is out of print, but I obtained an e-text from Project Gutenberg, and I'm in the process of editing it so I can print it and make a booklet of it for myself. If I'm able to as easily as I think I may, I might be persuaded to make more for others, if interest exists.
