... it probably could be more humiliating, somehow. But I'd rather not think about it.

That's true. We always get through it one way or another.

Soup?... Hey, we've got some cans in the pantry. I can bring some over if you want! I might have tea, too, but I'd have to check.

Thanks -- that'd be appreciated! And I'm sure the tea would go down well here too.

Hey, I'm happy to help. I can bring it by in a little while? No kidding. It's always a good time for tea, right?

Sure, that sounds great! ... I'll try my best to keep my germs away from you, don't worry. Exactly. I don't think there's a bad time. Not even in a place like this.

I'll make sure I drink my orange juice. Or take a vitamin or something. Right! Especially in a place like this.

((assume or commentlog? :3 either is fine with me ♥))

Maybe I should take a leaf out of your book and do that in future. It may just be the flu, but it totally sucks!

Couldn't hurt. Getting sick in a place like this really is the worst, y'know.

[With that, she pockets the communicator and goes downstairs to rifle through the kitchen cabinets. The search produces a can of chicken soup and a few packets of herbal tea bags. Hey, it's better than nothing.

She pauses and glances at the stove, considering making the soup beforehand...but that'd be silly, right? Especially if she had to take it all the way there...

So instead she grabbed a pan and her jacket, and headed out the door. The Latimir apartments weren't hard to get to, and the trip was quick; before long she had arrived at Phoenix's door and knocked lightly.]

Yeah... I guess it's not really as warm as it could be. Though there are plenty of people-- [sneeze] --sorry, looking out for me here.

[before Umi got there, Phoenix made some kind of attempt to make the place look presentable - he wasn't exactly the tidiest person around, and he knew that a lot of people didn't appreciate that. B|

Thankfully, it looks like it's at least liveable before she gets there, and he quickly goes to get the door when she arrives. Just don't mind that he looks like a bug in a cocoon right about now, what with all the blankets he's accumulated since he got sick.]

Exactly! [...] Oh yeah...like mister Edgeworth, right? He seems like a good guy.

[Fortunately for him, living at Gohl is the height of messy-boy-rooms. She hardly bats an eye at it --Prydain and Haseo were always way worse, not to mention the attic-pirates-- but the sight of Phoenix under that pile of blankets...is another story entirely. She can't quite keep herself from giggling a little.

And then, triumphantly, she holds up the soup pot, containing one (1) can soup and two (2) tea bags, ready to fix.]

Ta-da! I came prepared.

Yeah - though he isn't too happy about it. But he totally owes me! He is a pretty good guy, despite his grumbling.

[and you get a smile with that statement, Umi. He's also quite happy to see her again - and admittedly can't help but be amused along with her. He probably does look pretty ridiculous, but that's a daily thing for him anyway. Having people see him like this isn't a huge deal.]

Heh, I swear you're a hero! Why don't you come on in? Just mind the blankets. [he knows that the kitchen is tidy at least!]

Owes you, huh? Must be something big. One of those types...the grumbling, I mean. That's kinda sweet.

[She beams at the compliment and follows him inside, trying not to laugh again. With all the blankets he looks kind of like a big lumbering...something. Maybe a bear, but he seems too nice for that. Either way, it's a funny picture, but he's sick, so it's not exactly like he can help it.]

Right...I won't step on 'em. [...] Y'know, I don't usually end up in the Latimir building. It's kinda nice!

Considering all of the times that I've gotten him out of trouble, probably! Sweet, huh? You think so?

[actually a bear is a pretty close image to what he's like right now; and besides, he wouldn't mind the comparison. Even though he'd usually protest that she probably has him confused with Gumshoe or something.]

Don't you? I guess most people are over at Gohl now, or the high school. Maybe it's not as strange as I thought...

That's what he said...about helping him out. So I'm not surprised! Mmhm~ He also said he flew all the way from Europe to help you out, too.

[Well, that works. Either way, she follows the Phoenix-bear into the apartment, keeping an eye out for the kitchen. It's definitely easy to make a can of soup, even for her, especially when they have electricity. She makes her way into the kitchen and starts reading the soup can instructions.]

Yeah...that's where I am. Gohl, I mean! And most of my friends don't live here. ...Hey, do you have a tea kettle around here?
