I haven't been keeping up with my journal like I did to start with, I think I just need new ideas. Here's a few old ones.
My first entry after the two-day drive I took to move from Warner Robins, Georgia to San Antonio, Texas. I tried to draw my car, a Geo Tracker.
A little entry the day my grandparents left for Colorado for the summer. And I just love that picture of Patrick Dempsey. Apparently, he fell off the motorcycle on his ass and laughed at himself. Cute ^_^
Random colored bits I cut out of an ad in Nylon magazine.
I found the image before I thought to even do a page on a conversation I had with my close friend (and ex-boyfriend). It says: "in your dreams," i said. "i've been dreaming for 8 years," you replied. what am i supposed to think when you say these things? (last line not exact).
Fun with color. My favorite combination ended up being the rose/brown/blue on the right.
My cousins Mikayla and Nikolas that I don't get to see often.
Bits from a map of Boulder, Colorado, where I went to see my brother graduate grad school from Naropa University. I adore Pearl Street.
Saw Prince Caspian, loved it. Lyrics are from Regina Spektor's "The Call" which plays at the end.
Torn pieces from Nylon. I liked the image of the girl and built the idea for the page around it.
A small list of places I want to visit at some point.
I'm about 1/3 of the way through the pages and it's already started to get bulky (it looks more dramatic in real life, I promise). I'm almost afraid to see what it will look like when finished!
