It is the eve of a new year, hopefully one that will end up way better than 2008!

I hope you have a great New Years eve! I also plan to stay at home. I've done the same for the last several years and I have to say I don't miss those huge crowded parties.

I may go out in a little bit to the grocery store to get myself some little snacks for later and one of those single serve bottles of bubbly. :)

I'm hoping 2009 will be a lot better for everyone!

Yeah, in my experience New Year's Eve parties are all alike: crowded and people drinking...
not my kind of thing at all.
I was thinking of buying stuff for a fancy meal, but maybe I'll just order pizza delivered.

Oh, I was going to order a pizza too. I went to the store instead and got myself those bagel pizza's, which I love, some dessert, some sardines for the cats later so they can celebrate too, and some beer for myself to enjoy over the next few days. :)

I hope you have a great time too. You're like me, you will enjoy your home celebration more than going out.

It'll be mostly a quiet time...
but I did get pizza... and I'll enjoy DVDs... I'll probably go to bed early but sit up reading until midnight.
