The bioavailability (the amount of the drug, unchanged, which makes it into the systemic circulation) of a drug depends upon the route administered. Drugs administered orally or rectally have a decreased bioavailability.
I snickered when my proff said that rectal bioavailability is erratic.
I see. Like you don't give peptide-based medications orally, because your body thinks, "mmm chicken"
Rectal bioavailability. Yeah, there's something a little wrong with that. Also, at 27 (or close enough), immature giggling is to be relished and enjoyed.
