Yes, it has been an exceptionally long time since I've posted here. I still don't have much to say, I'm sorry. I do still read most of the posts that come in. Keep up with what folks are reading, their weekly and/or monthly word count, new stories they may have posted, etc. But I've turned in a major lurker. All I have energy for is to read,

It's good to hear from you again, darling! Same here - mostly lurking, and no proper time for fandom. I'm even behind the reading and commenting at my favourite Ron/Draco fest, but I try to do a bit day by day! *cries in the corner*
Honestly, I've been so rarely at the Lj (and I haven't been posting in ages) that I probably missed all the problems other people have with it - I've heard that it demands payments in rubles for the little extras and whatnot. I hope you can manage to sort it out. Have you tried contacting support?
I've also been vaccinated! I got Janssen with no side effect and because it only takes one shot, I'm all set! :) It's a nice feeling, we've been travelling to the NL to visit some relatives and it cost us a small fortune in tests for the whole family - but now that's behind us! :)

Good to hear from you, and my_thestral. I just tried to reply to her comment and LJ wouldn't allow me to. Something about mass actions and then when I tried to correct it, it gave me some "bogus arguments" response and still wouldn't allow me. Then I went to try to reply to the email and it still wouldn't let me. we'll see how this goes with you

My notices from LJ come through my promotions tab, which took me forever to figure out. LJ is still being anti social when it comes to me being able to access things directly there.

I had not seen that Petebrown thing before, but it makes sense. And yes, lord knows, someone is always wrong on the internet. I hate conflict of any kind, so generally don't engage with any of them. Not that discourse is necessarily a bad thing, but its just become so rude and invasive. It's just not worth it.

Wait. Didn't i see something about you learning Mandarin, so you can watch the Untamed? Or was that in an earlier edited version of your answer?

I'm starting to try writing a bit more, (not too successfully as of yet, but trying. I am looking to try and find new betas, is that something you think you might be interested in, or have time for. (don't concern yourself if the answer has to be no. it's all good I promise.)

Thanks. I understand. i just recently lost (as in i've no idea what is happening with them, and i'm about to lose it over worrying about them) friend. Though, we had been in fairly constant contact for the last few months. Now, she's vanished and to say i'm concerned is an understatement.

I should do better with this. You're absolutely right.
