I'm referring, of course, to Star Wars.

I just had a friend over who only recently binge-watched the original trilogy and had somehow managed to get through the last few months without getting spoiled for The Force Awakens. So we watched TFA and I got to witness her flailing and shrieking and gasping over the Ben Solo reveal (the minutes leading ( Read more... )

Yo, dy, if you wanna watch all 7 episodes of Star Wars, try this order: episode 4 and 5 (that's pt 1+2 of old trilogy), episodes 1-3 (prequel trilogy), episode 6 (last one of the old ones), and then TFA.

*pets*

I'm just going through your journal and stumbled over this.

I've seen this on tumblr: The best order in which to watch episodes 1-6 is:

4, 5, 1 -3, 6

The reason behind this is: You get the dramatic "Luke, I am your father" reveal in episode 5, then episodes 1-3 serve as a sort of flashback. Then, when you've found out how sweet Luke's daddy turned into Darth Vader (and are ahead of Luke in knowing that Leia is his sister), you return to 6 where everything is resolved.

And after that you continue with TFA :D
