Am I missing something?

I don't understand.
To this day:

Cancer.

I just don't get it.
18 years and I still can't come to the conclusion why cigarettes have not been taken from store shelves and banned.

Brain Teaser )

People have to, have to make there own mistakes. You cannot outlaw cigarettes. The only way cigarettes will ever become nonexistant is if the vast majority of people stop buying them. Will it happen? Maybe. It could. But to just decide one day to outlaw them will only give more power and money to whoever kills enough people to run the smuggling of cigarettes. People will still want them the same amount as before, but now they will break the law to get them.

Before you start thinking I'm only about banning smoking to purely punish those who do...

Visit this site.
Then tell me what you think about the dangers of smoking and what banning cigarettes could do for everyone's health and lifestyle.

I know the dangers. Everyone knows the dangers nowadays, thanks to the truth ads and everyone's uncle or grandma who has lung cancer and a general better understanding of the consequences thanks to the internet and studies and such. My point is that it's not just a health problem. It's a very big economic and socialogical and probably other things I can't think of right now problem.

This is starting to remind me of the time I was arguing for the cause of drinking milk. Memoriiiiiiieeeeeeeessssssss.
