Which is just as far away from the city (and thus from public transportation) as the last place (Lawrence) I nixed because I didn't have a car. Apparently the ( Read more... )

Well of course you got scholarships...you kick ass. Duh!

Any chance of a car pool to Randolph? It's counter traffic from where you are but it's a thought.

The thing is, I wrote what I thought was a pretty funny application essay, but now I don't know if they liked my humor or just my grades, so I don't know if I should be all straight-laced and tight-assed in my thank you notes. "Thank you for the opportunity to begin my teaching career without any further debt" versus "Education and I want to thank you for your lovely gift. We just know that even though my relationship with computer science didn't go that well, this time it's right, and we plan to be together from now on."

Could be. Or working out a ride from the commuter rail station or something -- but it'd be better if they could just find me something I could get to. Still no word. Crossing fingers.

Consider this...

Grades are indeed important and thats why so many people work so hard at them. It's also why quite alot of people have them. To achieve excellence in grades says you are willing to work hard to accomplish the job in front of you.

How many of those same people can claim a fantastic (if sharp) sense of humor?

The grades put you in the running, but your personality set you above.

By the way, you are aware of my horrible spelling issues? Right?
