Not gonna say anything about your bro because he... well dammit, there I almost went and said stuff. You already said it anyway. Maybe after he moves to Korea you can pay someone to steal his passport so he stays there a while :-)
The main reason I commented though was to say I think I'd like your Dad. Loved both anecdotes about his heart attacks. Okay, that sounds weird. I should say I like how he handled them. The man has class, balls and perhaps a wickedly dry sense of humor (not "aaaaarghhh," not "help!" but "you'd better drive; I'm having a heart attack")
my dad's a great guy. and yes, he does have a very dry sense of humor. just so i finish the tale with it's proper ending. dad yelled at me while i was driving to the EMT station (to get into another lane, which i couldn't because it was blocked). finally, they let me into the hospital room to see him. i've already called everyone and been assured that he's going to be ok. with tears streaming down my face, i yelled, "DON'T YELL AT ME WHEN I'M DRIVING!". yep. that was the first thing i said to him when i finally knew he'd be ok.
