Stormy skies

There's one hell of a storm raging outside right now. We left to go out to dinner and the sky was dancing with cloud-to-cloud lightning. By the time we had finished eating, the lightning was a wall around the city and green. It was pouring by the time we got home

I watched that same storm roll through too. It produced the heaviest rain I've seen in a long time, followed by a lull, followed by more of the heaviest rain I've seen in a long time. I can't admit to having paid much attention to the storms in a while, but still, I was impressed.

It sounded like a tornado. I know it wasn't, but geez it brought some scary images to mind.
