Four-teen year old Don sat down on his bed. He looked at the box of Valentine chocolates. He was going to give it to Vicki but when he went to her house he saw Billy Collins’ bike in the yard. He really liked Vicki and thought she would kiss him but now she was kissing stupid Billy. Don felt hot tears start to form but he quickly brushed them away when he heard the door open. He was about to tell Charlie to get out but he instead said, “Hey Buddy. Want to share some candy?”
Charlie’s eyes lit up as he jumped on the bed. He said excitedly, “Really?”
“Yeah really, you can even have first pick.”
“Thanks Don. You are best brother in the whole world.”
