Fic: A Good Way to spend the evening: How many years?
Valentine Fic 4
David handed Colby a bag from the bagel shop. It was his turn to bring breakfast in for the team.
Of course today being Valentine’s Day the bagels were heart shaped. Grimacing at all the jibes he would get from them he went to his desk.
A few minutes later Colby stopped by with a bagel smeared with cream cheese. He grinned at David and said, “David aww man, you shouldn’t have. Heart shaped and everything.”
“Shad up Granger,” growled David.
“Oh come on. You know you want to be my valentine.”
“Hey Megan, if I shoot Colby how many years you think I’ll get?”
She replied with a grin, “None, no jury in the world would convict you for it.”
DAvid replied, “Good” and snatched the bagel from Colby. Taking a bite out of it he said, “Happy Valentine’s day.”
