Applied today for a teaching job in Memphis, since Teach for American knocked me.
Will be appying for similar teaching jobs in Philadelphia and New York soon.
I doubt I'll get any of them, but I hope I do.

UUUUUm, no. I never actually get to see the applications or what exactly they are looking for beyond a certain GPA and campus leadership activities.

And as for teaching fellows i know even less :(

but good luck! I bet if you take the praxis exam, though, that'll boost your odds. The praxis is like the gre of teaching. Jimmy Somerville just took it and did really well.
