A bright orange set of long underwear, cleverly elasticized to define the...declivities. I wore it to the "Mexican Nite" party my roommates and I hosted at our apartment and ended up wearing it outside, on a bike mission to collect my agency colleague from his apartment. I thought I could manage a China-style two-to-a-bike feat, but it turned out that the orange suit didn't confer the type of superpowers I thought it did.

That makes sense. Otherwise I would think it would be construed as "I'm bowing! Do you see that I'm bowing? I'm so respectful!" Rather than just doing it to be respectful. Or I guess in this case regretful? Or whateverful.

Is this Shanghai wide? I did not notice this when I was there, admittedly only for a few weeks. But then I did not bump into anyone either. Although I do hear about lots of pushing and shoving.
