When Chairman Nunis and I donned Afro wigs at the Board of Trustees
meeting last Thursday, we did so purely in support of the very
successful UCF Knights basketball team and star player Dexter Lyons.
Dexter's Afro has become symbolic of this Golden Knights team and of

Some of my favorite relationships with people are the undefined ones. Acquaintances that smile and say hi when you walk pass them. Grandpa Jack died yesterday afternoon. His entire body was filled with cancer. He had lumps in his throat and back, and cancer in his lungs and bones. He couldn't eat because it hurt his throat so much. He most likely starved to death. He died in his sleep after telling my grandma that that was the night he was going to die, and go to heaven ( Read more... )
