So for my engineering project, we have to design something new for something and draw up all the plans for it. yah... it's going to be hard. Nerdy idea #1: Why not design a really good desk for studying? Not only do you have enough room for your computer, but also textbooks, and a huge area to lay out papers so you can visualize all your work and whatnot? (In English, a desk that can help ANYONE be organized!)

Nerdy idea #2: School desks that allow you to relax, and give you more elbow room on it. =_='

Nerdy idea #3: A keyboard that won't eventually give you CTS.. And not those gel-like cushions for your wrists either. =_='
