One last post about death and dying and all that good stuff, and then I’ll move on. We went to the funeral for Tim’s colleague last week. Her friends and the minister got up and said some nice, often humorously true, things about her life. Then the minister got deep into the “god talk,” about needing Jesus in your life, yada-yada. The notion that a truly omnipotent God, who thinks, acts, and creates on a universal scale, can take the time to be concerned with the affairs and actions of humans. . .is so ridiculous that I've never understood how anyone can believe it. It's like worrying about the state of electrons on one atom of a grain of sand on a beach.

God has bigger fish to fry. . .

Well said. I think a good attitude to come to life is love. Love yourself and let it spill over again and again to all around. I always want to be FOR something, and not AGAINST something as so many Christians seem to be. Gods love 'em. ;)
