I apologize, but I need to rant.

( Engineering is like sex. Sure it produces some practical results, but that's not why we do it. )

Engineer type #2 makes great middle management material in big corporations. It's fairly easy to spot them. You don't feel a soul when you're standing next to them.

That's why I never want to work in big corporations. The amount of red tape and bureaucracy is out the charts.
