This is a case where you should follow the money. There's not a single serious scientist who studies climate that doesn't agree that global warming is real, and is caused by man-made releases of excess carbon dioxide, which has increased by 50% in our atmosphere during the past two centuries. The only serious debate among the scientists is how severe the effects will be, from mild to catastrophic. Any fix will be costly.

The CEI is an industry group, not scientists, who represent the industries who will bear the brunt of the cost. We heard the same scary stories thirty and forty years ago when pollution prevention laws were first passed, such as the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, the Safe drinking Water Act, RCRA and Superfund.

Anyone suggesting that Al Gore's movie is bunk, based on industry commercials and not real science is trying to fool you. I've seen the real scientific data. Al Gore has it much more right than wrong.

If memory serves, the largest sponser of CEI is Exxon, correct?
