Nephrite knew the old stories of the Winter Star.
During the last great war, a young soldier did not return home. Every night, his wife would gaze up at the night sky, praying for his safe return. And so, one star shone brighter, guiding him back to her.
Nephrite knew all about messages from the heavens. He often looked to them for guidance.
But these days, he found something else.
Tonight, his star descended gently, in shimmers of light.
And when it landed, it was all soft fabrics and curly hair, bright eyes and smiling lips.
And he was home.
