What a weird game. The Cards looked terrible at first, but had some really unbelievable plays. Had they taken more time on that last play, the Steelers might not have won... then again, had they not had quite so many penalties, it would've been a different game, too.

Just think, though... without that 100 yard interception touchdown, the Steelers lose! What a roller coaster.

Yeah, I know. Completely crazy! I'm glad that the Cards gave a real show in the second half, though. I was starting to wonder how they made it to the Super Bowl with how they were playing.

It's true. A lot of people complained about some of the penalty calls but to me, I chalk it up to 'seasoning' which is a fair part of gameplay. The Cards haven't been to any sort of pro bowl in 60 years, it shouldn't surprise anyone that they're jumpy. They're going against the #1 NFL defense and they're getting tons of calls for holding, face-masking, etc. I think that just comes with being a new Superbowl team and if they come back next year or in a couple years, they'd have far less of those sorts of penalties. Unfortunately, it cost them what, 95 yards? 100? The entire length of the field in yards basically, this time. :-)
