And finally the very last chapter of Little Lion Man!! I actually got this chapter written a lot faster than I expected; once I got started I just couldn't stop! Thank you so much for your patience, everyone, and I hope you enjoy this last installment.

What a brilliant ending to this story! I never thought I'd see the day Douglas and Martin are the clots while Arthur is the genius! You got them all spot-on, especially flustered embarrassed Martin.

P.S.: Listening to the song right now too and it just fits perfectly.

Thank you!! I'm glad you enjoyed it. It was alternately a nightmare and a joy to write, and it's good to know the work paid off. I generally find that Arthur is the most difficult to write while Martin is by far the easiest.

About the song - I had never even heard it when I started writing this, and it was originally called "Final Straw", which I didn't particularly like. Then a couple of chapters in I heard the song and couldn't help but think it fitted, so I changed the name because I preferred it. Glad you agree. :)

I can imagine. The whole set up is difficult to begin with, but this definitely worked marvelously!

"Little Lion Man" was actually the only song I knew by Mumford & Sons before I saw them mentioned in another prompt over at cabinpres_fic and the fill just got me intrigued for their music! Now I bought the whole album and just love it.

Yeah...it's very difficult to write a story in which the key point is that there is no dialogue or communication of any real sort between the two main characters. Which is why Arthur had to sort of take over! Thanks again though. :)

I think we may have seen the same prompt; that's what introduced me to Mumford & Sons as well!! And I'm very glad it did, they are now one of my favourite bands. :)

Just gonna say that I loved every bit of this story to pieces.
You have a really moving and compelling style, it keeps you with your eyes glued to the screen.

I really liked how they both were very much IC and the necessary role of Arthur as, for once, the only sensible man onboard!^^
They definitely should send him a gift!!

Aww, thank you!! :)

This story was both a joy and a challenge to write, so it's good to know when people think that work paid off.

Arthur as the sensible one was amusing to write but difficult to pull off, glad you liked it. :) I think he definitely deserves some sort of thank you from them!!

D'Awwww! Stupid men not talking things out... I'm so glad about the ending! *squeel with glee*
And OMG *ARTHUR* !!!! Brilliant. The hint he took from the kid was just PERFECT. So him.

I am seriously considering stalking you. You're good at this. I want to read more from you! But before I stalk you I promissed myself to finish reading the prompts (all the three of them) so I'll do that first (and probably end up reading more from you doing so... I hope so, anyways.)

Thank you so much! I'm very glad you liked it. I find Arthur by far the hardest (and Martin by far the easiest, not sure if that says something about me or not...) to write, so it's a relief when people think he turned out okay.

Haha, yay for having my very own stalker! :-P
