I tried to read the first article, but I've seen and heard so much of that stuff going on that I can't bear anymore. It is just frustrating to no end how women are treated, especially in places like that and nothing is done about it. It just gets pushed aside and these poor girls are forgotten.

And the thing about submission being part of who we are as women... HA! I feel just the opposite, as I'm sure you ladies do, too. A lot of women choose to be submissive because of religious beliefs, or because of their upbringing or whatever, but it is definitely NOT a 'natural' thing. Or maybe they don't 'choose' to, it's what they think they are supposed to do.

I'm a male.

And I find this all incredibly confusing.

It may just be my socioeconomic group, of middle-class Australia, but where I live, rape is looked down upon equally by both males and females. Heck, if anything it gets men more riled up, than women.

Here, it's not something that is shrugged off, or thought of as; 'she deserved it', or it was just some 'bad luck'.

Which angers me over the way in which strong minded feminists can go throwing around the term 'men' so loosely, when talking about rapists.

These despicable criminals are not men. They are cowards. I don't like, as a 20 year old male, who is incredibly respectful of females; being put in the same category as these monsters. Nor do I think it's fair.

Your acting as if it's men vs. women. As though we're on different teams of a sports game. Rape is something we need to fight against together. United.

Let's not forget, it's not only women who get raped ...
