* I would never have thought of playing door without seireiishtar! She mentioned thinking about apping Richard but needing a Door, and I was like "Hey, I could do that!"

* When it's revealed at the end that yes, she was definitely that smart, and she pwns Islington and the Old Firm.

* Her favorite Jane Austen book is actually Emma.

* I love the way she really can actually be really affectionate and cute, with people she knows well and is comfortable with. Also that she can be convinced while drunk to dance down the British Museum steps.

* Nobody should have to deal with having their family wiped out like that.

* Hmm, if I may choose another Gaiman character, Door and Coraline exploring London Below together would be awesome and adorable.

And I'm still playing her (though not enough)!

BEAST!

* Another character I picked up entirely because of someone else! Panny's Belle at DDD was so amazing. She needed a Beast. And the muse stuck, wonderful mix of rage and dork and emo that he is.

* The part where he tells Belle to go to her sick father. Such personal growth, Beast.

* The servants really are his family. His parents died when he was very young. Of course, when your parental figures are also dependent on you for their jobs...

* He is such a dork it is adorable. He tries so hard and sometimes fails but tries again and makes the best faces while doing it.

* God, he has got so many self-esteem and guilt issues. He's really hampered by them.

* Fakir, from Princess Tutu. They both put up these tough, angry fronts, but are really emo dorks. Who like Shakespeare.

* It was sad to loose the people he knew at DDD. Especially Philomel, who was almost motherly to him. It was adorable.

* You. ♥ I was all, "Why does this awesome Haruhi not have a Kyon?"

* I admit, his narration for "The Adventures of Mikuru Asahina" is a personal favorite. (But there is so much that comes so close.)

* When he was younger, he snuck down to watch the Japanese dub of The X-Files whenever he could get away with it.

* YOUR LOGIC DOES NOT WORK HERE, KYON. BUT KEEP TRYING.

* Denial, Kyon. It is not just a river in Egypt. (Of course, we've broken through that at DDD~)

* Hmm, beyond ones he's met on DDD...maybe Tony from Tanya Huff's Smoke books. They could lament how inconvenient the supernatural is together.

And I'm definitely still playing him!

* I've always loved Lyra. And through all the rereading/listening to the books on tape of His Dark Materials I did, she's been a huge part of my life. So it was really natural to play her. Though interestingly, that also made it easier to drop her. I feel so connected to her anyway, for better or worse, that it doesn't really feel like a loss.

* That is such a hard question with her. I'm...going to go with leading everyone out of the Land of the Dead. But there's so much of her being so awesome...

* She has come to like marzipan quite a bit.

* She tells the most ridiculous lies, I love them. What was that one in The Amber Spyglass, with people from the moon and Will being raised by wolves ( ... )
